Frozen Horizon

There’s something about snowy silence that makes time feel slower, like the world is taking a deep breath. When I painted this view capturing the snow-covered peaks of Germany’s Black Forest, seen from the summit of Mount Kandel, I felt completely peaceful, as if standing above the noise of everyday life.
